Bill Douglas, President of Design Builders, Inc., started the Charleston home building company in 1991. He earned degrees in Civil Engineering and Forestry, majoring in Wood Industries at West Virginia University. Bill is also a Vietnam era veteran serving his country in the US Army.

Twenty years working in the fields of Civil Engineering and Construction Management gave Bill valuable knowledge and experience ensuring his success as a Custom Home Builder.
Eric Douglas, Project Manager, has worked with Design Builders since 1997. His education in Civil Engineering at Trident Technical College and his advanced carpentry skills give him a thorough understanding of the overall home building process. When visiting your new home under construction, Eric is there to answer any of your technical questions.
